International Dart Tournament

The International tournament KR dart – open will take place, November 14, 2009, in KR-stadium, Reykjavík.   The tournament is organized by KR-Dart club.

The tournament will be played in 8 men heats mixed, women and men.
The first two in each heat will proceed into A – final
The third and fourth will proceed in B – final.
Those ins place 5-8 in heats will run for a Plate
The finals will be based on a knock-out system.
For all games:  open start, double finish.

The tournament will start in the morning and will finish in the early evening.
After finals is an awards ceremony with dining.

The matches will be of the following form:
In the heats  501 best of 3 legs
The finals, before quarter finals 501 best of 3 legs
Quarter finals 501 best of 5 legs
Semi finals 501 best of 7 legs
3rd place 501 best of 7 legs
Plate finals 501 best of 7 legs
B – final 501 best of 7 legs
A – final 501 best of 3 sets, best of 5 legs

Prizes will be given for
  1st , 2nd and 3rd  places A - finals,
  1st , 2nd and 3rd  places B – finals and
  1st , 2nd and 3rd  places in a Plate winner.
The tournament fee is USD 80. Included is dining at the final ceremony.
