Squash

Reykjavík Squash Club
February 3rd - 4th.

The competition will be held at Reykjavík Squash Club, the single largest squash club in the country and one that has hosted numerous international squash events including PSA and WPSA events. Veggsport has four courts in excellent condition, each of them with glass back-wall, fully equipped gym and an outstanding sauna to relax in after a hard day´s competing. There will be competed in three categories: Men’s, Women’s and Teenagers (U-19) with tournament on Friday and semi-finals and finals on Saturday.

There is a great interest among Icelandic and international squash players to attend this big event, The Reykjavik International Games. Skvassfélag Reykjavíkur (Reykjavik Squash Federation) was founded in December 1988 and Skvassnefnd ÍSÍ (Icelandic Squash Committee) in 1993 which makes the sport very young in Iceland.
